Captain Marvel Review the momager lifestyle

Captain Marvel shows us “why we need heroes”

Captain Marvel is the latest addition to the Marvel cinematic universe and it’s the perfect film to expand the universe once more. Set in the 90s, Captain Marvel mixes nostalgia, comedy, and a healthy sense of curiosity to the MCU. Featuring Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, we follow her on a memento like a journey. She wakes up on the Kree planet, Hala and has no recollection of her life before that point and that’s where our adventure begins.
The movie takes on some buddy comedy tendencies with the entrance of Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury, this time with two eyes! This film is full of “firsts” it tells the story of Nick Fury’s first time dealing with the unknown, how he lost his eye, and our first time (chronologically) seeing an infinity stone.

This movie also serves as the introduction of Captain Marvel herself. She’s the hero we deserve, simply put. She’s the hero that gets knocked down but will get back up time and time again. She will surely be a figure of empowerment to young girls and women across the world but also this year’s hottest selling Halloween costume. Marvel managed to pull the best parts of her comic book appearances and introduce us to this dynamic character in the most perfect way.

It’s like Captain America and the Guardians of the Galaxy had a hilarious, action-packed baby. The comedic moments are to die for and the visuals effects (physical and digital) are gorgeous. Without giving too much away, I can say Captain Marvel just climbed its way into the Top 5 for the best Marvel movies.

Captain Marvel is out in theaters everywhere, March 8, 2019. And make sure you stick around for the TWO end credit scenes.
